Naming clarification — 2026-09-18

Naming clarification — 2026-09-18: the standard was previously expanded as “Veriscopic Evidence Standard.” It is now named the Verifiable Evidence Standard to describe the property the standard enables. Veriscopic remains its steward.

Change policy

Major versions may change required public semantics. Minor versions may add compatible fields, profiles or definitions. Patch versions correct errors without changing intended semantics. Draft versions may change before stabilisation and should always be cited with the draft label.
